Shanghai Tower gets insurance 29th December 2008, 09:36 pm Shanghai Tower, a 632-meter skyscraper which began construction last month, will sign an insurance contract with six insurance companies, including China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co, today, Shanghai Tower Construction and Development Co said Thursday. Construction of the tower will be covered with 8.448 billion yuan (US$1.24 billion), according to the company.
